Getting Started with Canvas: Your Account & Login

How do I sign up for a Canvas account as a student?

For most of you, accessing Canvas will be a seamless process. As a student of the University of Justice, you will most likely already have an account created for you.

Check Your University Email: Keep a close watch on your official University of Justice email address. Your institution will email your login information directly to you. This email will typically include your username, temporary password, and links to accept any initial course invitations.
Accept Your Course Invitation: If you are using Canvas through your institution, you will generally need to accept a course invitation to access your materials.
Creating an Account (If Needed): If you do not already have a Canvas account (which is rare for enrolled students), you can typically create an account when you accept the course invitation. Follow the clear prompts provided in the invitation email to set up your credentials.

Upholding Justice: Your Digital Responsibilities
