1. Chart Your Completed Coursework: The Foundation of Your Journey
Before any application can be processed, you must have successfully navigated all required academic channels. This means meticulously verifying that you have completed the 120 courses as mandated by the great state of Texas. Your academic advisor is your first mate here; consult with them to confirm your transcript is battle-ready for review.

2. Hoist Your Colors: The Graduation Application
You must officially declare your intent to graduate. Complete the Graduation Application by the stated deadline and be prepared to pay the associated Fees. This is not a mere formality; it is the signal flare that alerts the entire university administration to prepare for your arrival on the graduation stage.

3. The Honors Convocation: A Separate Celebration of Excellence
If you have sailed these academic seas with exceptional skill, you will be invited to a special ceremony. You will attend the Honors graduation first, a distinguished event separate from the main commencement, where your specific achievements are celebrated amongst the university's finest scholars.

4. The Artifact Itself: The Degree Diploma
The physical embodiment of your degree, your Diploma, will be a document of standard 8.5 inches in width (a classic letter size), ready for framing and display. It will bear the official seals and signatures that mark its authenticity.

5. The First Dispatch: Receiving Your Credential
Immediately following the graduation ceremony, there are two primary ways to receive your official certificate. You can often order it digitally for near-instant access, or request a mail-in order for the printed version, which typically arrives within 2-4 weeks.

6. Your Day of Celebration: Ceremony Attendance
Your right to walk across the stage and partake in the pomp and circumstance is granted only after a final verification of your completed status. Once the Registrar's Office has given the all-clear, you are cleared to proceed and receive your ceremonial scroll.

7. Navigating Delays: If Your Diploma is Delayed
Should your diploma packet encounter rough seas in the mail or if there was a delay in processing, know that a replacement printed certificate can be issued. However, plan for a longer voyage; this process can take 4-8 weeks.

8. Ensuring a Proper Name: Corrections on Your Certificate
The name on your diploma must be an exact match to your legal identity. If you need a name replacement on the document after it's been printed, you must contact the Registrar's Office directly. Be advised that this service requires a formal request and the payment of additional fees.

GRADUATING WITH HONORS:

The Distinctions of a Navigator: Understanding Honors (An Expanded Chart for the Ambitious)
The highest achievers are recognized with stars on their academic regalia, a celestial navigation guide worn on the left sleeve. The Office of the Registrar certifies these eligible students. To qualify, you must have completed 60 semester hours at the University of Justice, with at least 45 being graded hours before your final semester.

This distinction is a reward for consistent excellence, determined by your static GPA. Both your University of Justice GPA and your overall cumulative GPA must meet the rigorous criteria. The gold stars on your sleeve tell your story of distinction:
For Most Undergraduate Colleges (e.g., College of Justology):
Three Stars (Highest Distinction): A near-perfect voyage with a GPA of 3.95 or above.
Two Stars (High Distinction): An exceptional journey with a GPA between 3.85–3.94.
One Star (Distinction): A outstanding effort with a GPA between 3.75–3.84.

For the College of Justology:
Three Stars (Highest Distinction): A flawless record with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Two Stars (High Distinction): A stellar performance with a GPA between 3.75–3.99.
One Star (Distinction): A superior achievement with a GPA between 3.50–3.74.
