Position Summary
The University of Justice seeks enthusiastic, newly‑graduated or currently‑studying individuals to join our faculty as New Lecturers for the Justice Healthcare Administration program. No prior teaching or professional experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided. The successful candidate will assist in delivering curriculum content, supervising students in clinical settings, labs, and field trips, and contributing to a dynamic learning environment that integrates theory with real‑world practice.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Facilitation
Deliver undergraduate lectures, seminars, and discussion sessions in accordance with the JHA curriculum.
Co‑facilitate laboratory exercises and simulation activities, ensuring safety and learning objectives are met.
Prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations with timely, constructive feedback.
Clinical & Experiential Supervision
Accompany student groups on clinical placements, field trips, and site visits to hospitals, correctional health facilities, public health agencies, and related justice‑oriented organizations.
Guide students through observation, data collection, and reflective debriefs, linking experiences to course concepts.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, health‑safety protocols, and confidentiality standards during all off‑site activities.
Curriculum Development & Assessment
Participate in the design and continuous improvement of course materials, case studies, and assessment tools.
Contribute ideas for integrating emerging trends (e.g., tele‑health law, health equity, forensic health) into the program.
Student Support & Mentoring
Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students, fostering professional growth and career planning.
Respond to student inquiries and maintain office hours for additional support.
Professional Development
Engage in faculty development workshops, seminars, and university‑wide teaching training.
Pursue relevant certifications or graduate coursework as part of a structured career‑advancement pathway.
Qualifications
Education – Associates, Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Law, Criminal Justice, or a closely related discipline. Candidates currently enrolled in a graduate program are also encouraged to apply.
Eligibility – Must be a recent graduate (within the past 12 months) or an undergraduate student in the final year of study. No prior teaching experience required.
Skills & Attributes –
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse student groups and multidisciplinary staff.
Organizational aptitude for coordinating schedules, field trips, and laboratory sessions.
Basic familiarity with health‑care systems, legal frameworks, or justice‑related environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience as a volunteer, intern, or trainee in healthcare, legal, or correctional settings.
