JUST 2333 is a multidisciplinary course designed for Pre-Medical Justice students. The
curriculum bridges the technical gap between medical imaging technology and the legal/forensic
frameworks of the Texas healthcare system. Over eight weeks, students will master the anatomy of
major organ systems, the physics and operation of imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy),
and the technical troubleshooting of these devices. Simultaneously, the course enforces a rigorous
understanding of Texas Medical Board regulations, HIPAA compliance, and the legal implications of
radiation-induced injuries and equipment failure.
