Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student Extern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while contributing to meaningful projects within the field of Justice Studies. As a Student Extern, you will work closely with experienced professionals who will mentor you, enhancing your skills and knowledge relevant to your academic pursuits.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students with application processes and requirements, providing guidance and support.

Support sales and marketing initiatives at our off-site kiosk, engaging with customers and promoting our services.

Perform administrative tasks, including the creation of project folders and printing necessary materials.

Manage phone calls and documentation scanning to maintain organized records.

Prepare production order packages for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.

Requirements


Expected Hours: Approximately 25 hours per weekend.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Criminal Justice, Justice Studies, Bio-Medical Justice, or related field).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience is a plus but not required.
