Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and personable Qualifications Shuttle Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their designated locations while ensuring a positive experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and exceptional customer service abilities.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Operate company shuttle vehicles to transport employees, clients, or guests in a safe and timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are maintained and in compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of trips including time schedules and passenger counts.
Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including luggage handling as needed.
Follow planned routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary based on traffic conditions or other factors.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to promote safety and efficiency.
Provide a high level of customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the transportation supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle inside and out.
Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid [State] driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs, major traffic violations, etc.).
Previous experience driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with vehicle maintenance is a plus.
