About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for students seeking accommodation, addressing inquiries regarding eligibility and qualification for housing.
Evaluate student applications for housing and communicate qualification criteria effectively to prospective residents.
Conduct informational sessions and tours of the housing facilities, conveying the various options available and highlighting the benefits of living in student housing.
Maintain accurate records of student applications, qualifications, and housing assignments using [specific software or database name].
Collaborate with the housing administration team to develop and implement outreach strategies aimed at promoting housing services to students.
Provide support and resources for students experiencing challenges related to housing, helping them navigate the qualification process and available options.
Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on housing policies, processes, and best practices.
Assist with organizing housing events, workshops, and social gatherings to promote community engagement and inclusivity among residents.
Foster a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable discussing their housing needs and concerns.

Requirements

High-School Diploma, Associates, Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Hospitality Management, Social Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in student housing, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and community-building.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with housing management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Understanding of student development principles and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in housing.
