Course Description:

The Foundation of Financial Justice Assistant course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote fairness, equity, and transparency in financial services. Through a comprehensive 8-week program, students will delve into the principles of financial justice, ethical practices, and practical implementation to address financial inequalities and discrimination.

Course Objectives:

  4. Promote Accessibility and Inclusion: Analyze barriers to access faced by underserved communities, design inclusive financial solutions, and engage marginalized populations.

  5. Apply Ethical Principles in Data and AI: Evaluate the use of data in financial services, recognize bias in algorithms, and develop ethical considerations for AI-driven decision-making.

  6. Educate and Empower Consumers: Develop financial literacy tools and strategies to empower consumers, promoting long-term financial well-being.

  7. Establish Accountability: Design feedback mechanisms, complaint systems, and strategies to build and maintain stakeholder trust.

  8. Stay Current with Legal Frameworks and Emerging Trends: Understand current laws promoting financial justice, emerging technologies, and their implications.
