Course Description:
The Foundation of Evidence-Based Research Assistant course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct, analyze, and apply evidence-based research to inform decision-making. Through a comprehensive 8-week program, students will learn how to design, implement, and evaluate research studies, apply research findings to real-world problems, and communicate complex information effectively.
Course Objectives:

Design and Implement Research Studies: Learn how to design, implement, and evaluate research studies, including quantitative and qualitative methods.

Conduct Literature Reviews: Develop skills to conduct comprehensive literature reviews, including search strategies, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and critical appraisal.
